RICHARDSON, TEXAS, June 26, 2023 – Carly M. Rowan, MS, LPC has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. Ms. Rowan is a mental health care provider specializing in providing therapy to children and adolescents. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Tabor College in 2016 and continued her education at LeTourneau University. In 2021, Ms. Rowan completed a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, and she holds additional professional certifications in working with children with ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. As a part of her commitment to professional growth, Ms. Rowan is currently pursuing doctoral coursework in counseling education and supervision through Liberty University.
Ms. Rowan currently sees patients as an associate of the East Texas Counseling Group and WellNest Counseling PLLC. She focuses on working with children and youth struggling with anxiety, depression, and family conflict, and also provides mental health services to adults and families. Ms. Rowan is well-versed in a variety of counseling methodologies, and has recently started to incorporate therapy dogs into her sessions. She emphasizes that each client is unique, and works to create treatment plans and sessions tailored to their individual needs and goals.
Ms. Rowan credits her success to the support of her family and the strength that she has gained from her faith, and considers counseling to be her true calling in life. She looks forward to completing her doctorate and beginning a career transition into educating and supervising pre-professional and early-career counselors. In her personal time, Ms. Rowan is active in community charitable outreach projects, and enjoys volunteering for her church.
